Our directing team is made up of passionate and highly skilled artists in the Greater Vancouver area who lend their talents to productions at LFMSS. Combining a love for artistic expression and excellence, the team consists of trained vocal, choreo, and stage directors who willingly dedicate their time to nurturing and supporting our students.

Our cast consists of 40 dedicated students from grade 6-12 who undergo a competitive audition process to get a place on stage. These students rehearse up to 9 hours a week in person in addition to their individual practice time outside of school. Students are trained in singing, acting and dancing, with their hard work culminating in live performances for the community.

Our orchestra brings the music of The Little Mermaid to life with talented musicians performing the beloved score live for every show.

Our crew is made up of students from grade 6-12 who are interested in tech, stagecraft and visual arts. Some opportunities include, but are not limited to, building props/sets, working with audio and lighting, painting/drawing, and learning about stage management. Attending rehearsals after school and on weekends, the crew is an integral part of putting on a successful production.
